Data Village Discovery
A connected interactive experience for exploring data village
Data Village Discovery was a two-part interactive experience designed to encourage attendees to explore Data Village throughout Tableau Conference. At the entrance, a central multi-sided installation with large touchscreen displays invited attendees to complete a short questionnaire and receive a personalized profile and recommended lineup of activities. Throughout Data Village, tablet-based Activity Stations let attendees scan their badges to mark each stop complete and enter a daily giveaway.
Starting from user flows and requirements, I developed the
UI and visual direction, interaction design, component
systems, and prototypes across both experiences.
Touchscreen Installation
The touchscreen installation guided attendees from badge scan and questionnaire through personalized results and recommended Data Village activities delivered to their email.

Activity Stations
Tablet-based Activity Stations were placed throughout Data Village, allowing attendees to scan their badge at each stop, track their progress, and receive an entry into the daily giveaway.

Early Wireframes
Working from the provided user flow and requirements, I developed early wireframes to align stakeholders on the experience, screen structure, and key interactions before moving into visual design.
