Redesigning an editorial Magazine
Evolving visual and content experience for a cannabis publicationDope Magazine is a cannabis lifestyle magazine brand, recently acquired by High Times Magazine – the publication was based in Seattle, WA and distributed nationally.
As part of the editorial leadership team, I was responsible for elevating the national magazine’s visual standards, editorial design strategy, and the level of creative output the production team delivered. I lead design direction and collaborated with senior executives, managing editors, art directors, and stakeholders on strategic creative direction for the publication across print and digital media platforms. Additional duties included working hands-on creating content, reorganizing information architecture, designing layouts, graphics, typography, and illustrations while project managing the execution and production of the monthly magazine.
